the business begins
After years of working as a salesman for various companies in the plumbing supply industry, Tommy Shaddix moved his family to Cullman, Alabama, to chase his dream of starting up his own business. With the help of his wife, Mitchelene, they opened a plumbing supply warehouse, House of Plumbing, in Good Hope, Alabama.
1972
the first expansion
Tommy decided to further pursue his experience in plumbing, and in 1972, he became a Master Plumber. After purchasing a trenching machine, backhoe, and dump truck, the plumbing business expanded to include the installation of water and sewer lines.
